Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival & Umbwe Gate

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to hotel in Moshi/Arusha. Meet your guide and have a pre-trek briefing.

Day 2
Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp

Begin your trek at Umbwe Gate, ascending through rainforest to reach Umbwe Camp. Enjoy scenic views and your first night on the mountain.

Day 3
Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp

Trek through the Shira Plateau, enjoying panoramic views, before reaching Barranco Camp at the base of Barranco Wall.

Day 4
Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Climb the Barranco Wall and traverse the Karanga Valley to Karanga Camp. A day of acclimatization and spectacular scenery.

Day 5
Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Continue to Barafu Camp, the final camp before summit. Rest and prepare for the summit attempt during the night.

Day 6
Summit & Descent to Mweka Camp

Begin a midnight trek to Uhuru Peak, the summit of Kilimanjaro. Celebrate your achievement and descend to Mweka Camp for overnight rest before transferring back to Moshi the next day.
